Evaluation of Camera Angles

Above are some examples of camera shots we decided to use in our piece. They are: Over the Shoulder shot, Match on Action shot, 180 Degree Rule shot and Shot Reverse Shot. Each one helps to create effect and the wide variety of shots we use will only help create and better and more crafted piece.

Over the Shoulder shot is from the second actors point of view and is designed to help show the other actors facial expressions and emotions.

The Match on Action shot helps focus on a character with action being shown behind to create effect.

180 degree rule is a commonly used shot. We used it in our piece as it was the right shot for one of our scenes where two groups of people are arguing.

Finally, the Shot Reverse Shot is a shot which shows two characters in conversation but from a different angle which is close to one of the characters. We used this for a disagreement in our piece to help show their anger and feelings.
