Synopsis

Our piece has many different parts to it and each one is different because it is showing the story from other people's point of view. It is about a young couple who are walking home from a night out at the cinema when they are attacked by two hooded youths who dmenad that the bloke hands over his girlfriend. He refuses and gets beat up, consequenting in them taking his girlfriend and leaving him battered and bruised on the floor.

Opening Scene

It is late in the night and the dark was closing in. Gavin and Maria are holding hands walking down the street. They are discussing how thier night went and how much they enjoyed it. They turn down an alleyway on their way home.

Second Scene

They carry on walking down the alley, exchanging ideas on what they should do the next day. In the distance they see two people coming towards them but don't pay them any attention.

Third Scene

The people in the distance are two hooded youths who have purposfully turned into the alleyway,hoping to bump into the young couple. They slowly work their way down the alley, trying not to draw any attention to themselves doing so.

Fourth Scene

The two boys confront the young couple. The couple are startled and don't understand what is going on. The hooded youths demand the guy hands over his girlfriend but he refuses and offers them money. They get angry and start to attack Gavin, kicking and punching him to the floor. Maria cries out and tries to stop them.

Final Scene

Gavin is cut and bleeding on the floor and shouts at Maria to run away but she is not quick enough and they grab her and drag her away kicking and screaming. The final shot is of Gavin crying on the floor calling out Maria's name into the night.
